Our certificates and reports are designed for the people responsible for the upkeep of a building, to help them understand their electrical system. The test and inspection includes:

• A schedule of test results, including distribution board schedules for each circuit
• A schedule of inspection: coded observations so you can see the importance of rectifying each item
• A costing for each observation, so you can see the work involved in rectifying any non-compliant issue

All portable appliances should be tested annually, as 25% of all electrical shocks and fires occur with the use of portable appliances. Our annual visit tests every portable appliance and tags each one appropriately to show its compliance. It is both efficient and affordable.

Buildings open to the public often have many hirers using the halls and rooms. BS5266:2011 sets out the requirements for safe exit from a building during an emergency, and local authorities will require that emergency lighting is inspected, regularly checked and the findings recorded in a log book.

Our six monthly or annual test of the emergency lighting includes:

• A log book tailor made to your individual system
• A print out of all tests and records taken
• An instruction sheet on the routine checks you are required to carry out
• A demonstration of the regular testing that needs to be carried out
• A diagram of the emergency lighting layout, if required
